The Self-Advocacy initiative, People First, run through the ARC of New Mexico, will be holding their next Quarterly meeting and Picnic at Collins Lake Ranch. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 27th, from approximately 10am – 2pm.
The ARC is generously providing lunch, they just need to know how many people plan to attend – As of now it’s about 40 people; self-advocates, families, and their supporters. This is a great location for the Taos and Las Vegas Chapters to meet in the middle, and is accessible to other families in the northeastern part of the state as well.
The large activity center and commercial kitchen, along with access to the lake, provide an ideal venue for this fun event.
The Ranch is honored to host a group of well informed, community educators, who speak up for themselves and others with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
If you have questions or would like to attend, Please contact the Ranch at (575) 387-5089, or call Steve Scarton, with the ARC of NM, at (505) 883-4630
